Do you feel a huge sense of urgency in your business? As BIPOC women, it's been ingrained in us that we are only worth something if we work hard by the capitalist, colonial, patriarchal status quo. In this episode, we explore what it means to never act with urgency in your business. We also give tips on how to practice letting go of that nagging sense of fear, so you can get hella rich in time, money, and joy.

This episode is for those folx who are starting to think outside of their 1:1 client work and want to grow their own business. When you’re working with clients day in and day out, it’s really easy to put your client work first. But question arises-- who has time to work on their own business, when clients pay the bills? Try treating yourself as your best client-- you're worth it.

In this episode, we're talking through the mindset basura and fuckery that comes up when you’re making big moves in your business and offerings. A lot of business coaches may call this “pivoting,” but we like to think of it like an expansion. Check out our journey to expand our businesses and stay aligned with our values. 

At any point in your business, you’re always going to find a point where you have to bet on yourself. As entrepreneurs, we will never have the perfect plan and nothing is guaranteed, but what we can do is trust in ourselves, name the fear, and move on from them.

When choosing a coach or striving to become one, there's this idea that coaches have all the answers. Real talk-- coaches are not perfect. What's important is choosing a coach that you have chemistry with. And if you are a coach, allow yourself to be vulnerable and transparent about your methods. Ultimately, that's what will attract customers because being real builds trust.

Yes, our business is called Let’s Get Hella Rich, but there’s a reason we always talk about getting hella rich in time, money AND joy. Because when we focus on money: we start to compare and despair. We stop focusing on ourselves, and worst we stop moving forward on getting the work done.

In those moments, we'll deflect the constructive feedback because we get caught up in our emotions.

In this episode, we (Nadia and Allison) discuss how, despite the initially icky reaction, receiving feedback is a gift. We share a recent story that got us in our feels but actually gave us an opportunity to grow.

It's no secret that the various apps and platforms we use today have been created to prop up the hella male and hella pale demographic. 

So we're (Allison & Nadia) following up our last episode with the same energy: take up space and FUCK UP the white-centered algorithm.

In this episode, we'll discuss why BIWOC representation is so important on social media and how we show up online without those bro-y/sleazy marketing tactics.
